Those who embarked on the path of violence, bloodshed, lawlessness did not recognise and do not recognise any other solution to the Donbas issue, except for the military one.
In this regard, I consider it necessary to take a long overdue decision to immediately recognise the independence and sovereignty of the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Luhansk People’s Republic.
I ask the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation to support this decision, and then to ratify the treaties of friendship and mutual assistance with individual republics.
These two documents will be prepared and signed in the very near future.
And from those who seized and hold power in Kyiv, we demand an immediate cessation of hostilities.

Modern Ukraine was entirely created by Russia, more precisely, Bolshevik, communist Russia.
This process began immediately after the revolution of 1917.
As a result of Bolshevik policy, Soviet Ukraine arose, which even today can with good reason be called ‘Vladimir Ilyich Lenin’s Ukraine’.
He is its author and architect.
This is fully confirmed by archive documents.
And now grateful descendants have demolished monuments to Lenin in Ukraine.
This is what they call decommunisation.
Do you want decommunisation?
Well, that suits us just fine.
But it is unnecessary, as they say, to stop halfway.
We are ready to show you what real decommunisation means for Ukraine.
Otherwise, all responsibility for the possible continuation of the bloodshed will be entirely on the conscience of the regime ruling on the territory of Ukraine.
Announcing the decisions taken today, I am confident in the support of the citizens of Russia.

The Involvement Of Western Powers, Particularly Countries Like The UK, Has Added Layers Of Complexity And Danger.

As I watch the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia, I find myself grappling with deep concerns and a sense of unease about how this war has unfolded and why it even began.
To understand the current situation, we need to look back to 2014, a pivotal year when Ukraine was torn apart by internal divisions.
In response, Russia, under Vladimir Putin’s leadership, stepped in, claiming to protect the Russian-speaking populations in Ukraine.
Many have framed Putin’s actions as aggressive and unjustifiable, but I see it differently.
In my view, what Putin did was no more than what any leader would be expected to do — protect his people and his country’s interests in a region that has long been a complex and contested space.

Now, as this war rages on, it’s clear that the situation has spiraled far beyond those initial actions.
The involvement of Western powers, particularly countries like the UK, which is committing billions of pounds annually and supplying military equipment like tanks, has added layers of complexity and danger.
These tanks, meant for defence, are now being used to push into Russian territory, escalating the conflict even further.
It’s difficult for me to support Ukraine when I see how this conflict has turned into yet another arena for geopolitical power struggles, where energy resources and land seem to be at the heart of the matter.

I can’t help but feel that the West’s involvement, far from being purely altruistic, is deeply intertwined with its own interests in controlling resources and asserting influence in the region.
This war is no longer just about Ukraine’s sovereignty.
it has become a proxy battle, with the real motives buried under layers of political rhetoric and strategic maneuvering.
The stakes are high, and the consequences are terrifying.
The use of kamikaze drones to attack energy supplies, the relentless bombardment of cities, and the looming threat of nuclear escalation — these are all signs that we are on a dangerous path.

This is why I believe we urgently need to step back and seek peace.
The world cannot afford to see this conflict escalate any further, especially not to the point where nuclear weapons become part of the equation.
The human cost is already immense, with lives lost, families torn apart, and entire regions destabilised.
But beyond the immediate devastation, there’s a broader, more frightening possibility that this war could spiral out of control, dragging the world into a conflict far larger and more catastrophic than anything we’ve seen in recent history.

We need to stop, reassess, and pursue every possible avenue for peace.
Diplomacy, dialogue, and a genuine commitment to finding a resolution are the only ways forward.
We must move away from the idea that this is a battle to be won by one side over the other.
Instead, we should focus on the lives that are being destroyed and the futures that are being jeopardised on both sides of this conflict.
The world is watching, and history will judge how we respond.
Let us not be remembered as the generation that allowed a regional conflict to ignite a global catastrophe.
We need peace, and we need it now.

Boris Johnson Served As The Messenger To Quash The Peace Process.
The U.S., UK and other backers of Ukraine told Kiev to reject the deal reached at the 2022 Istanbul peace talks with Russia, former U.S. under secretary of state Victoria Nuland has said.
In an interview with Russian journalist Mikhail Zygar, former editor-in-chief of the liberal news channel Dozhd, Nuland was asked to comment on reports that the peace process between Moscow and Kiev in late March and early April 2022 collapsed after then-British Prime Minister Boris Johnson traveled to Ukraine and told Vladimir Zelensky to keep fighting.
During her conversation with Zygar, Nuland confirmed that both Moscow and Kiev were eager to seek a diplomatic solution a month after the outbreak of the fighting.

Vladimir Putin said that the only reason the Istanbul deal failed was because of “the wish of the elites in the U.S. and some European nations to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia”, adding that Boris Johnson served as the messenger to quash the peace process.
The negotiations in Türkiye yielded a draft agreement, which would have ended the hostilities, Putin recalled.
Kiev was willing to declare military neutrality, limit its armed forces, and vow not to discriminate against ethnic Russians.
In return, Moscow would have joined other leading powers in offering Ukraine security guarantees.

Victoria Nuland, who during her time in the State Department was renowned for her hostility towards Russia, quit the post of under secretary of state for political affairs in March 2024.
Nuland played a key role in the violent Western-backed coup in Kiev in 2014, which toppled Ukraine’s democratically elected president, Viktor Yanukovich.
During the escalation between Moscow and Kiev in February 2022, she called for deeper U.S. involvement in the conflict and advocated for Ukraine to be armed with increasingly sophisticated weapons.
However, in February 2024, the 63-year-old essentially acknowledged the failure of her longstanding policy of containing Moscow, telling the CNN that modern Russia had turned out to be “not the Russia we wanted”.

NATO’S 2008 Membership Promise To Ukraine And Georgia.
Many European allies of the United States already perfectly understood all the risks of such a prospect, but were forced to come to terms with the will of their senior partner.
The Americans simply used them to carry out a pronounced anti-Russian policy.
A number of member states of the alliance are still very skeptical about the appearance of Ukraine in NATO.
At the same time, we are receiving a signal from some European capitals, saying what are you worried about, this will not happen literally tomorrow.
Yes, in fact, our American partners are also talking about this.
Well, we answer, if not tomorrow, so the day after tomorrow.
What does this change in a historical perspective?
Basically, nothing.
Moreover, we know the position and words of the U.S. leadership that active hostilities in eastern Ukraine do not exclude the possibility of this country joining NATO if it can meet the criteria of the North Atlantic alliance and defeat corruption.
At the same time, they try to convince us over and over again that NATO is a peace-loving and purely defensive alliance, saying that there are no threats to Russia.
Again they propose that we take them at their word.
But we know the real value of such words.

We clearly understand that under such a scenario, the level of military threats to Russia will dramatically increase many times over.
I pay special attention to the fact that the danger of a sudden strike against our country will increase many times over.
Let me explain that U.S. strategic planning documents contain the possibility of a so-called pre-emptive strike against enemy missile systems.
And who is the main enemy for the U.S. and NATO?
We know that too. It’s Russia.
In NATO documents, our country is officially and directly declared the main threat to North Atlantic security.
And Ukraine will serve as a forward springboard for the strike.
If our ancestors had heard about it, they probably would simply not have believed it.
And today we don’t want to believe it, but it’s true.

There has been a dramatic rise in Ukraine’s number of dead, according to new estimates by unnamed US officials.
The BBC’s Quentin Sommerville has been on the front line in the east, where the grim task of counting the dead has become a daily reality.
The unknown soldiers lie piled high in a small brick mortuary, not very far from the front line in Donetsk.
Ukraine gives no official toll of its war dead – the Ukrainian armed forces have reiterated that their war casualty numbers are a state secret.
Ukrainian Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Maliar released a statement warning that those who release casualty numbers would be liable to criminal prosecution.
The figures remain classified, but U.S. officials, quoted by the New York Times, recently put the number at 70,000 dead and as many as 120,000 injured.
It is a staggering figure, from an armed forces estimated at only half a million strong.
The UN has recorded 9,177 civilian deaths to date.

They are trying to blackmail us again.
They are threatening us again with sanctions, which, by the way, I think they will introduce anyway as Russia’s sovereignty strengthens and the power of our armed forces grows.
And a pretext for another sanctions attack will always be found or fabricated, regardless of the situation in Ukraine.
There is only one goal – to restrain the development of Russia.
And they will do it, as they did before, even without any formal pretext at all, just because we exist and we will never compromise our sovereignty, national interests and our values.
I want to say clearly and directly that in the current situation, when our proposals for an equal dialogue on fundamental issues have actually remained unanswered by the United States and NATO, when the level of threats to our country is increasing significantly, Russia has every right to take retaliatory measures to ensure its own security.
That is exactly what we will do.

I think the future of Ukraine is female Ukrainians mating with Western European and USA males, as they will be there in significant numbers in the future during the recovery phase of the war.
It will likely become a predominantly mixed race country.

The Dire Situation Of The Ukrainian Economy And Dwindling Military Manpower.

Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky’s so-called ‘victory plan’ is being undermined by the reality that his nation does not have enough manpower or resources to prevail over Russia, The Economist reported.
Zelensky is currently visiting the U.S. to promote his proposal, which reportedly boils down to the West increasing its backing in terms of cash and weapons so Kiev can continue fighting.
The British Economist magazine described the dire situation affecting the Ukrainian economy and dwindling military manpower.
Unlike Moscow, which is fielding volunteers, Kiev relies on forced conscription, it noted.
The Economist said: ”Officers complain that many of those drafted into service are ill-suited to fighting: too old, too ill, too drunk. There is no clear path out of the army once in it, which makes being mobilised seem like a one-way ticket to the morgue”.
Moscow has stated that NATO’s intention to draw Ukraine into its ranks was one of the key triggers for the hostilities.
Its vision for a stable peace includes a cap on Ukraine’s military strength and its non-alignment.
Kiev agreed to those terms during peace talks in the early phase of the conflict, but then reportedly made a U-turn at the West’s suggestion.

Ukraine never had a tradition of genuine statehood.

Russia assumed obligations to repay the entire Soviet debt in return for the newly independent states giving up part of their foreign assets.
In 1994, such agreements were reached with Ukraine, but they were not ratified by Ukraine.
Ukraine preferred to act in such a way that in relations with Russia they had all the rights and advantages, but did not bear any obligations.
From the very first steps they began to build their statehood on the denial of everything that unites us.
They tried to distort the consciousness, the historical memory of millions of people, entire generations living in Ukraine.

Zelensky Has Rejected The Idea Of Negotiating With Moscow.
U.S. President Joe Biden and his aides have privately questioned Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky’s so-called ‘victory plan’, and fear that his decision to launch an offensive into Russia’s Kursk Region has affected the “long-term trajectory of the conflict”.
Zelensky arrived in the U.S. to present his plan to Biden and other American officials.
While the document has not been made public, it reportedly consists of four points – the continuation of Kiev’s Kursk incursion, NATO-style security guarantees from the West for Ukraine, the delivery of more advanced weapons, and international financial assistance for the country.
Zelensky has rejected the idea of negotiating with Moscow.
In a UN Security Council meeting he declared that the conflict “can’t be calmed by talks” and that “Russia can only be forced into peace”.
