Between August 2014 and February 2018, the Tornado, Typhoon and Reaper aircraft of the Royal Air Force spent a total of 42,000 hours in the air over Iraq and Syria.
That alone cost the UK taxpayers around £1.5 billion.

I know a lot of Tory MPs and I am sad to say the public is basically correct.
Tory MPs largely do not care about these poorer people.
They don’t care about the NHS. And the public has kind of cottoned on to that.

( Dominic Cummings, chief advisor to UK PM Boris Johnson )

We are living in a period of time in which the biggest threat to humanity, to all creatures, and to the Earth itself, is ourselves.
And yet our greedy leaders and greedy governments allow greedy men and greedy corporations to continue with their wake of destruction.

We’ve Accidentally Sold Weapons To Saudi Arabia.
UK International Trade Secretary Liz Truss has been ridiculed after claiming the government had accidentally granted two military export licenses for Saudi Arabia.
Truss was forced to apologise to the Court of Appeal for the “two inadvertent breaches”. The UK suspended arms sales to Saudi Arabia in June, 2019, after the court ruled that ministers had acted unlawfully by not determining whether weapons could be used against civilians in the war in Yemen.
As a result, the government stated that no new licenses would be issued to Saudi Arabia while a review is conducted.
Andrew Smith of the Campaign Against Arms Trade, which brought the original legal challenge, said: “If the government cannot be trusted to follow its own rules, or an order from the Court of Appeal, then it must immediately end all arms exports to the Saudi regime”.
Before the court ruling in June, 40% of arms made in the UK were sold to Saudi Arabia.

The socialism I believe in is everyone working for each other, everyone having a share of the rewards.
It’s the way I see football, the way I see life.

( Bill Shankly )

The UK Government spent £10,842,063 on their ‘Prepare For EU Exit’ adverts between November 2018 and July 2019.
Every single penny spent on this advertising campaign to prepare for the self-inflicted damage that is Brexit would have been better spent on policing, schools and the NHS.
Brexit is already costing us dearly and we haven’t even left yet.

( Wes Streeting, 19.08.2019 )

We now live in a time when our best defence is to be suspicious.
Look closely at who profits from the actions, the policies and the agendas of those with power.
Unfortunately, there are many who believe all they read, hear and see.

Boris Johnson asserts, ever more boldly, that we will leave the EU with or without a deal.
But as his sister has reminded us, he is backed by speculators who have bet billions on a hard Brexit – and there is only one outcome that works for them.
A crash-out no-deal Brexit that sends the currency tumbling and inflation soaring.
( Former UK Conservative Chancellor Philip Hammond )

The Wealthy Elite Who Support The Tories.
Many of us know, apart from most of the unsuspecting public, that racism, including anti-semitism, is rife and prevalent in the UK Conservative Party, much more so than the Labour Party. But both political and religious groups, organisations and corporations, including the right-wing media, remain silent of this fact.
Why?
Because keeping a Conservative Party in power is a huge benefit to them.

These groups, organisations and corporations are all part of the greedy, wealthy elite who are obsessed with power and control.
They will attack, attempt to discredit and smear, spewing outright lies, rhetoric and propaganda, anyone or any group who opposes or threatens their selfish existence.
Look at history and this is nothing new.
In 1945, prior to a General Election, the right-wing media who supported the Conservatives, splashed on their front page: “Gestapo In Britain If Socialists Win”.
The public weren’t fooled on that occasion and Labour won the election.

( Rose Winfold, 07.06.2019 )

There’s a lot we need to do in this party of ours.
Our base is too narrow and so, occasionally, are our sympathies.
You know what some people call us – the nasty party.
( Theresa May, October 2002 )

Dominic Cummings, who claims to be a hard Brexiteer and is chief advisor to UK PM Boris Johnson, received over £200,000 in EU subsidies for a farm he co-owns.

The hard-right in the Conservative Party are just a multi-millionaire elite who have managed to convince the gullible masses that they, and their billionaire friends, really care about the common people.
( Len Firswood )

The Far-Right Billionaires And Their Puppets In Government.
The dominant five newspapers in the UK, all far-right and owned by billionaires,
are the Sun, the Daily Mail, the Sun on Sunday, the Mail on Sunday, and the Sunday Times.
Each of these publications has been brainwashing its readers with fake news about the EU for years, while building up pro-Brexit politicians and stoking divisions.
Terms such as “betrayal”, “surrender”, “plots by traitors” and “enemies of the people” are on the front pages routinely.
We then had Conservative Ministers spewing mindless remarks.
Michael Howard talked up war with Spain over Gibraltar.
Jeremy Hunt likened the EU to the Soviet Union.
Boris Johnson compared the EU to the Nazis.
Priti Patel suggested threatening the people of Ireland with starvation.
Jacob Rees-Mogg threatened to sabotage the EU from within if Brexit was postponed.
Comments like these from both the far-right billionaires, and their puppets in government, have whipped up frenzy and incite violence in the not-so-smart members of the public.

We live in a time when our politicians, and the media that supports them, lie to the people, and those who dare to tell the truth are ignored or ridiculed.
( Rose Winfold )

American sanctions don’t affect the ruling elite in Iran.
It’s the people who suffer.
All this trouble started when Donald Trump reneged on the nuclear deal.
He did nothing when Saudi Arabia bombed a school bus in Yemen killing 40 children, or when they murdered an American-based journalist.

The sort of language I’m afraid we’ve seen more and more of coming out from No 10 does incite violence.
It’s the sort of language people think legitimises a more aggressive approach and sometimes violence.
( Former UK Conservative Minister Amber Rudd )

An Attempt To Influence The Local Elections.
Many Jewish voters are done with the ongoing smear campaign against Jeremy Corbyn, which they claim is an “attempt to influence the local elections”.
On 25 March the Board of Deputies of British Jews joined the chorus of attacks against Corbyn, accusing him of “siding with antisemites”.
But in a statement published by Jewish Voice for Labour (JVL), Jewish supporters challenged the claim:  “We are appalled by the actions and statements of the Board of Deputies. They do not represent us or the many Jews in the Party who share Jeremy Corbyn’s vision for social justice and fairness.”
( The Canary, 26.03.2018 )

The UK has been maintaining Saudi warplanes, storing their bombs, issuing their bombs, providing their missiles, training the pilots, providing the warplanes, present in the operations rooms.
The UK is not just backing the Yemen war; it’s part of it and its complicity is direct.
( Mark Curtis, 15.05.2019 )

UK Labour MP Karl Turner confronted Dominic Cummings, the advisor to PM Boris Johnson, saying he had death threats overnight.
To this, Cummings casually replies: “Get Brexit done.”

Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power.
( Benito Mussolini )

The Destruction Of Whole Countries In Lie-Based Wars.
Not even his most extreme critics are suggesting that Jeremy Corbyn is offering the kind of threat to Jewish people consistently offered by Tory and Blairite MPs to millions of people in countries like Iraq, Libya, Syria, Venezuela, Iran and Yemen.
Even if Corbyn had erred in failing to perceive the ugliness of a mural declared antisemitic by the press; even if he had been lax in taking action against party racists, and so on, how do these failings compare to the destruction of whole countries in lie-based wars of aggression?
Why do corporate media never make this moral comparison?
Because they are incapable of perceiving US-UK crimes against humanity as crimes.
A wilful moral blindness that renders them completely unfit to pass judgement on Corbyn.
Especially as they are themselves, of course, complicit in these same war crimes.
( Media Lens, 13.03.2019 )

I have had a death threat this week that literally quoted the prime minister and used the prime minister’s name and words in a death threat that was delivered to my staff.
( UK Labour MP Jess Phillips, 26.09.2019 )

Remember, when governments measure the ‘economy’, it’s by how well the rich people are doing, and not by how well the poor and the ordinary folk are doing.

Shame on the misguided, the blinded, the distracted and the divided.
Shame.
You have allowed deceptive men to corrupt and desensitise your hearts and minds to unethically fuel their greed.

Ukraine Faces A Very Dark And Troubled Future.
Since the American-orchestrated 2014 overthrow of its democratically elected government, Ukraine has been a complete political and economic disaster.
Ravaged by civil war, this American vassal statelet faces a very dark and troubled future.
Ukraine has discovered that there is absolutely no honour in being a satellite outpost of Washington.
While it has willingly cut itself off from Russia, it has no EU membership and is being used by the US as an East-West zone of geopolitical instability.

Saudi Arabia’s government announced the mass execution of 37 men on April 23, 2019.
At least 33 of the 37 were from the country’s minority Shia community.
The mass execution was the largest since January 2016, when Saudi Arabia executed 47 men.

The blinkered masses don’t get it, but the Government’s aim is getting them to hate the people who are being oppressed, and love the Government, who are the oppressors.
( Rose Winfold )

When the media and those with power support the corrupt few because it suits their agenda, it’s the responsibility of good and decent people to expose the lies and speak the truth.

A Scam Of The Utmost Cynicism And Brutality.
The claim that Jeremy Corbyn is an anti-semite presiding over a surge in Labour Party anti-semitism is fake news.
It is a scam of the utmost cynicism and brutality.
It should be viewed as the latest in a long line of attempts to destroy Corbyn by all necessary means.
He has been smeared for not bowing low enough, for not singing loudly enough, for hating women, for disrespecting gay people, for consorting with terrorists, for refusing to unleash a nuclear holocaust, for being a shambolic leader, for being a shambolic dresser, for leading Labour towards certain electoral disaster, for being a Putinite stooge, for aping Trump, and so on.
Now, finally, someone widely admired for thirty years as a decent, socialist MP, has been transformed into an anti-semite.
( Media Lens, 13.03.2019 )

Government scientists are commonly as corrupt as the corporate government that employs them.
( Steven Magee )

We live in a time when our leaders and those with power no longer commit crimes.
They are either ‘indiscretions’, ‘an error of judgement’, ‘an honest mistake’, or a ‘misunderstanding’.

When the UK Prime Minister was in America he told Donald Trump that his number one priority was Brexit.
Not the 87 old people dying EVERY DAY because of cuts to social care, or the continuing rise in homelessness, or the children living in poverty.

( Doris Fenlow )

Disrespecting And Exploiting The Millions Who Suffered And Died.
Anti-semitism does exist in the Labour Party, as it exists throughout UK society, and of course these delusions should be resisted and exposed.
But the smear campaign against Corbyn is not rooted in concern for the welfare of Jewish people.
It is not even about blocking a political leader who cares about Palestinian rights.
It is about preventing Corbyn from undoing Tony Blair’s great achievement of transforming the Labour Party into a second Tory Party, thus ensuring voters have no option challenging corporate domination, including the ‘humanitarian interventions’ for oil and other resources.
The goal is to stop Corbyn letting democracy out of its box.
Stephen Law of Heythrop College, University of London, warns that cavalier accusations made ‘on the basis of obviously flimsy or nonexistent evidence’ are ‘disrespecting the memory of the millions who were slaughtered by real antisemitism during the Holocaust’.
But in fact, it is worse than that.
State propagandists and their corporate media allies are exploiting the suffering of these millions as part of an attack on British democracy.
This is obscene.
But it is not particularly shocking after the campaigns of deceit which knowingly risked and then shattered the lives of millions of innocent human beings in US-UK wars of aggression.
One thing is certain, if Corbyn and his style of socialism can be made to disappear, we’ll hear no more about anti-semitism in the Labour Party, just as we heard no more about Iraqi democracy after Saddam Hussein, or human rights in Libya after Gaddafi; just as we will hear no more about press freedom in Venezuela, if Maduro is overthrown.

( Media Lens, 13.03.2019 )

The crowd doesn’t have to know, all they have to do is believe and submit to being shaped.

Complicit in misery, suffering and death.
When our leaders and our governments fail to condemn and ignore the sickening and brutal atrocities and crimes committed by the nations who they profit from, what does that say about them?

Yesterday in the UK House of Commons. PM Boris Johnson said, “The best way of honouring murdered Labour MP Jo Cox would be to get Brexit done.”
A crass, ignorant comment about someone who, though is dead, still has far more dignity than Johnson.

An Unfair Policy That Only Benefits Employers.
Employers in the UK are abusing current flexible working arrangements to make life impossible for hard-working people.
Over 1.7 million people across the country are very anxious about their hours changing unexpectedly and without enough warning.
Shifts are often cancelled at the last-minute leaving families short of cash for things like food or bills.
And with hours changing week to week it can be impossible to budget and plan ahead.
This unfair policy is supported by the Conservative Government.
And when the government say the number of people in employment is at record levels, they include those in part-time jobs and those on zero-hour contracts who need only work one hour in two weeks to be classed as employed.
A deliberate and scandalous ploy to fool the people.

Abolishing private schools isn’t an education policy by itself.
But watch how quickly funding gets allocated and standards improve across the board when the wealthy have to send their kids to be educated alongside ours.

( Ash Sarkar, 23.09.2019 )

More than $1million PER MINUTE of taxpayers’ money is spent on global farm subsidies, much of which is driving the climate crisis and destruction of wildlife.
Just 1% of the $700billion (£560billion) a year given to farmers is used to benefit the environment.

Yesterday in the UK House of Commons.
The wealthy and the privileged Tory MPs were cheering, clapping, and braying like donkeys after PM Boris Johnson described the increase in death threats towards women as ‘humbug’.

Remember The Chemical Attack On Douma?
In retaliation, the UK fired 8 missiles into Syria
costing £790,000 EACH.
Plus four Tornado GR4s at £35,000 per flying hour.
The U.S. fired over one hundred missiles.
This attack took place in the early hours of the morning on the same day the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) were due to start their investigation.
The OPCW investigation found no evidence of chemical weapons nor any evidence of people exposed to, or killed by, chemical weapons.

If one hundred people drowned on a British cross-channel ferry, it would be a national disaster.
If one hundred refugees drowned in the English Channel, it would be a political question.

( Rose Winfold )

An ally of the UK and the U.S., Saudi Arabia have executed 136 people so far this year (2019), including six children.
Executions include crucifixion and beheading, and claims are made that many are tortured into making confessions.
Crimes include demonstrating, sorcery and homosexuality.

If you want to be lied to, all you have to do is believe everything that Boris Johnson tells you.
( Len Firswood )

Was It Really Iran Who Attacked Saudi Arabian Oil Fields?
Saudi Arabia has spent $billions purchasing U.S. missile defence systems and supposedly cutting-edge radar technology.
If the Yemeni rebels can fly drones into Saudi territory and knock out oil production sites, then that would be a huge embarrassment for the U.S.
The U.S. needed to scapegoat Iran for the military attack on Saudi Arabia oil fields because to acknowledge that the Houthi rebels in Yemen mounted such an audacious assault would be an admission of the inadequate air defence systems sold to Saudi Arabia.

Money does corrupt, but only corrupts those with low morals and of low character.

Dominic Mckenzie Cummings, special advisor to Michael Gove when he was Education Secretary (that worked out well, Gove was sacked), and now top advisor to UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Many believe that Cummings’ long-term strategy is for long-term associate Michael Gove to be PM.

Finland .. One education system, no private schools (even the small amount of independent schools are publicly funded) and the best literacy rates in the world.
A level playing field insures everyone gets a first class education and the kids thrive in the freedom and flexibility.

Possibly The Largest Dealer Of Death In The World.
Apparently each time an Old Etonian becomes the Prime Minister of Britain every boy at the school gets a day off, as does every coke dealer in Central London.
Honestly, given the number of psychopaths they turn out, the place should be placed in special measures.
Old Etonian Boris Johnson’s government is moving rapidly ahead with all kinds of evil plans.
Now one of the many amazing things about Jeremy Corbyn when he comes to power is that he will be the first leader of a major industrial nation in modern history who is personally anti-war and who is not in the pocket of the massively powerful arms industry.
To my mind this is one of the major reasons for the ferocious negative response to the prospect of a Socialist Labour Government, all the lies, misinformation and false accusations.
But think what that could mean for our nation?
At the moment, thanks to BAE Systems and its subcontractors, Britain is possibly the largest dealer of death in the entire world.
But under Jeremy Corbyn, we could make all manner of beautiful things that aid humanity rather than killing it, and how much better we could feel about our nation because of that?
I am so passionate about this prospect that if you don’t like the idea I’ll fight you.

Modern conflicts and wars are started by the greedy elite to gain more power and to make themselves even more money.
( Rose Winfold )

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s proposed tax cuts would cost the government up to £20billion and mostly benefit the richest households in Britain, according to new independent research.
But Johnson knows this will attract the wealthy donors for his General Election campaign.

Those we send to war may suffer or die, but those who do the sending, and often profit from the conflict, sit comfortably and safely at home.

Is The Ability Of Students Shaped By Their Genes?
Dominic Cummings, senior adviser to Boris Johnson, once wrote a paper saying that people are poor because of their genetics.
Cummings wrote the paper while he was adviser to then-Education Secretary Michael Gove.
In the document, Cummings says that government policies designed to raise the performance of poorer children are “worthwhile”, but ultimately won’t make much difference, because the ability of students is shaped by their genes.
How he explains the instinctive stupidity of super-rich Boris Johnson is another question.
