A Vision In My Mind.
There is a vision in my mind
Where peace and love befalls mankind
And every hungry child is fed
Then tucked up safely in their bed.
It’s not a blur, I know I see
Where poverty is history.
Although it’s just a dream away
Please God I’ll wake to such a day.

The Land Of Smiles.
Thailand is the place I want to be
The place that made me feel so free.
I long to be back on its shores
So I can forget my cares once more.
In the day life goes so slow
And in the night you let it flow.
When the sun shines on my face
I really think I’ve found my place
And at night when I lie on the beach
My mind wanders out of reach.
The land of smiles, but so many miles
Can anything else feel this good
If it could I wish it would.

Life Is Full Of Choices.
It’s nice to have possessions,
Money, and some shares.
The fault lies in believing
All happiness lies there.
Life is full of choices
Make sure you pick the right one.
Don’t listen to the voices
Hear only yours and you have won.
The things really worth having
Are content and peace of mind.
The possession of these two
Leaves most others far behind.

Everyday.
Everyday is a stepping stone
Across life’s rushing stream
Bringing its opportunities
We work, we strive, we dream.

Keep Us In The Narrow Way.
Holy Jesus, every day
Keep us in the narrow way.
And, when earthly things are past,
Bring our ransomed souls at last
Where they need no star to guide,
Where no clouds Thy glory hide.
In the heavenly country bright
Need they no created light.
Thou its light, its joy, its crown,
Thou its sun which goes not down.

I Walk Alone.
I walk a lonely road
The only one I have ever known.
I don’t know where it goes
But it’s only me and I walk alone.

Christians Awake.
Christians, awake, salute the happy morn,
Whereon the Saviour of the World was born.
Rise to adore the mystery of love,
Which hosts of angels chanted from above.
With them the joyful tidings first begun
Of God incarnate and the Virgin’s Son.

Fly With Me.
An angel whispered in my ear
Believe in me and have no fear.
Come with me and take my hand,
I will take you to a beautiful land.
A place of peace, a place of light,
Don’t be afraid, just hold me tight.
Your days on Earth are done, but don’t be sad,
Remember all the good times you had.
Your loved ones will join you, don’t despair,
You have many in Heaven, waiting there.
Your body dies, your soul is free,
That’s why you get to fly with me.

Each Morning.
Each morning sees some task begun.
Each evening sees its close.
Something attempted, something done
Has earned a night’s repose.

Don’t Quit.
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will.
When the road you are treading seems all uphill.
When the funds are low and the debts are high.
When you want to smile but can only sigh.
When stress is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must – but don’t you quit.

No Time.
What is this life if, full of care
We have no time to stand and stare?
No time to see, in broad daylight
The beautiful and wonderful sights.

Please Do It Now.
If you can lend a hand.
If someone you can cheer.
Or share a grief or give a thrill.
Or take away a fear.
Please do it now.

Humans Spoil It.
The sky is blue
And birds sing too.
Stars and sunshine
And laughter too.
Humans spoil it
For me and you.

The Only Thing That Matters.
It doesn’t matter if you are short or tall,
If you have skinny legs or your hips are wide,
It only matters who you are inside.
Blue eyes, brown eyes, black or green,
What makes you most beautiful cannot be seen.
When you look at yourself don’t judge your parts,
The only thing that matters is what’s in your heart.
